We are Reflections - Celeste Contreras Skierski

A solo exhibition of new works by Celeste Contreras Skierski, produced during her artist residency at Villa Terrace Art Museum. 

Celeste Contreras Skierski is a Milwaukee-based Xicana artist who works in mixed media to share stories of ceremony, palimpsests, and memory with reflections of identity. She is a graduate and new professor at UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts and manages Studio Tlacuilo + Library, a new artist’s book library presenting works by Tlacuilo creatives at House of Rad in the Riverwest neighborhood.
